Habitapp, the leading smart phone App for the social housing sector launched in summer 2011, is designed to be used by tenants, leaseholders and other occupants of social housing properties in the UK, who need to report a variety of issues to their landlord. The smart phone App (available on both iPhone and Android) is available to landlords who wish to buy it on behalf of their organisation and have a bespoke version for their customers and agents to use.
Habitapp provides a simple and effective way for people living in properties owned and managed by social housing landlords to report a variety of topics incuding repairs, nuisance behaviour, and rubbish. The images below show the main screen with a list of report options, and the a sample property repair screen.
Habitapp can be used by customers, relatives and friends of customers, contractors, agency workers, staff members of landlords, in fact anyone who wants to report a matter to a specified landlord.
Habitapp allows the user to take pictures and to attach them to a report and to enter supporting information and a description.
Additional modules for Habitapp include:
- Display available properties - CBL, general let, affordable homes and shared ownership
- Display of contact details for head office, area offices and neighbourhood teams
- Display of news from client website
- Display of job vacancies from client website or external job portal
- Pay rent online
- Feedback forms
- Twitter feed
Habitapp clients now have the option to use the central data hub, allowing data to be exported and integrated with any compatible back office system.
Habitapp can also be amended to be a useful tool for private letting agencies who manage multiple properties.
