South London event focuses on jobs for local people

Eleven Housing Associations across London have come together in collaboration with 3D Change to create the South London Jobs Fair 2012 at Croydon’s Fairfield Halls. This exciting event, which will take place on 21st June 2012, aims to connect job seekers from the local community with potential employers – echoing the governments Big Society drive to promote employment, economic development and community growth through creative and collaborative partnerships.

A new website promoting the Jobs Fair has been designed & developed by Manchester design agency Emerald. The website includes resources to help job seekers prepare for employment including; CV writing, interview preparation, and useful links to relevant jobs websites.

Organisations taking part include: Affinity Sutton, Amicus Horizon, Croydon Council, Hexagon Housing, Hyde Housing, Orbit South, and Viridian.
